I think this place is beautiful. They enter, leave and pay through the gift shop. There are a lot of butterfly related things to buy, even things you can buy for home, buy hatch and release your own butterfly. Some things not related butterfly, but more gift store related like mood rings. When you go through the door first, there are several living exhibits in heated cases, I think I was most intrigued by the tiny little frogs, usually the frogs, which looked like small lumps of moss. You have thousands of butterflies everywhere, tropical trees and flowers, lots of quails around the soil among the plants, (they are so sweet) and a few very beautiful little birds if you look good enough but y...
The Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory is incredibly cool. We paid for the entrance through the gift shop so had a chance to see what was there on the way. You have a wide selection of puzzles, butterfly foods and lots of fun for children. Before going to the butterfly zone, there are about 20 tanks with exotic blows, chameleons and an amazing collection of frogs. Then on the butterflies. I didn't expect them to be everywhere! You can walk through your spare time and we have made some rounds. I was thrilled that so many had landed on me and you drove a while to the head of my husband. Great experience. I do wish they had the plants labeled as I didn't know some and wish I knew what they were I know, there's an app for that but there was so much to take in and enjoy that I didn't want to be fussing on my phone. I saw many people looking at their screen, while beautiful butterflies were landing on them, and they had no idea! My kids wore, bright green, dark green, pink, tie dye, and my mother in red. The pink/mauve color seemed to attract the most butterflies, the bright green a runner up. Oh! And look down, they had the cutest little quails scurrying about!
This place always brings a smile to my face!! It's such a peaceful, beautiful, magical place! I love going through the garden and enjoying so many beautiful butterflies that fly around you while I hear the peaceful music. There are several benches so you sit and enjoy your visit even more. There are also not only butterflies when you are observing, you will also see lovely little guards running around. They also have another bird, other insects, some amphibians and some reptiles to also see. The gift shop is also quite ingenious. It's a fantastic place, so worth the trip!
