Waiter need to training properly I was given her the orders quite few of dishes I know it’s busy day and ask her can you repeat the orders please she said no need. After that obviously she missed one thing and give wrong one to us. Her service quite poor the Japanese hotpot machine was out of gas. taking forever to boil the water and the people came after me they already finished their hotpot then the waiter came to us to change the gas. Great to dine in Monou again. The Omurice dishes were delicious.The host was very polite and the restaurant filled iwth patrons.The only disspointment was that the menu is a more simple takeway menu instead if the former more extensive dine in menu from before, which to us, was the main attraction for going to Monou
We had the hot pot special, sashimi and sake. It was OK but we've had better in the city at the same price point. Might eventually give it another go to try their omurice
Great little part of South Melbourne. Excellent service and an atmosphere and space that works. Enjoyed the food. They should think about expanding the menu even further
