This is our local restaurant, we don’t eat here often due to price but price reflects the lovely food. Popped in last night and restaurant was empty they were closing up. This was quite early for them as we have previously eaten here. Said they could do is a takeaway which was fine by us. Got home with food, and this was piping hot so had high hopes. Food was tasteless and full of water. Both dishes were really poor. The only thing nice was the poppadoms! There was actually a pool of water on my plate, absolute worst food I’ve had. What a very expensive waste to be honest. If the restaurant wasn’t closed I would have taken the food back. What an absolute shame as this was once a great place...
Me and my partner are new to the Rochford area and fancied an Indian. I googled this place, just going on the reviews. Some good, some bad. But we booked a table and gave it a go. We were welcomed in and shown to our table, straight away a drinks order and menus given. The staff bend over backwards to help your stay a memorable one. The food was absolutely amazing, from start to finish. The owner came over to the table and asked if everything was ok and had a good chat with us. Ignore any negative comments, this place deserves all the plaudits and we will certainly be returning. One of the best curry’s I have had.!!!
Lovely welcome, busy place, always a good sign. House wine absolutely perfect for a small town restaurant and the papadoms and spices standard, but well presented and impossible to find fault. The service outstanding. The bhona chicken tikka was absolutely divine; I’ve never had such well cooked chicken on a budget such as this. Well done. I contrast with one of the other Asian restaurants in Rochford. No comparison. Faultless in every way.
This was my second visit in a week, this tome with my brother and his son. Excellent mixed kebab starter and then I had lamb kasai and my brother had xacuti chicken. Both so well cooked and great service too. They deserve more to come visit them. Last week I brought an Indian friend too and he loved it.

What a fantastic evening. We went to this Indian last minute and had a brilliant evening. Great atmosphere, fantastic food can’t express this enough . Kids and the wife smashed through every crumb. Very friendly staff always looking happy and very polite. Can’t recommended enough. We will be back soon.
The server was sick and constantly clearing his throat, which was off-putting. The food was terrible, probably the worst I've ever had. I suggest saving your money and opting for an Indian ready meal from the supermarket instead. It will likely be of better quality. The restaurant was also dirty.
The meal and service at this restaurant were superb. The food was great and I went with my son and brother from California. The starter was fabulous and the service was friendly. This is the best Indian food I have had in years.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, and the atmosphere and service are top-notch. It's my favorite spot, but it's getting so popular that I almost want to keep it all to myself.
