I had been to that place many times in the past. It used the place to be, with excellent food (at least at lunch time). Maybe we just got unlucky this time, but I felt really bad of having suggested that place for lunch with our group. No one really enjoyed their food. Service was awful. The place was almost empty at lunch time, yet they were able to take almost 10 minutes between the first and last person in our party of 8 to be served. Just enough so the first to be served started eating cold. The home-made fish and chips looked great on the menu, but definitely not worth the trip. Last time ever at that place.
