This is a really beautiful family run restaurant a couple of miles north of Loule . It’s set in a renovated farmhouse with a lovely terrace. When we visited on a Saturday evening we sat inside as it was a little cold outside. The food here is very traditional, lots of casserole, goats cheese and roast meats . It seemed to be a favourite of the locals as there wasn’t another tourist to be heard or seen . The food we had was very good but it lacked sophistication. It was very traditional and very heavy . For a 50 Euro Lunch a disappointment. The menue alas is the same as it has been for years. I ordered shrimps with ginger for a startet. The shrimps were were overdone and dry. Then I had a beef tenderloin with a salad. ordered Medium Rare. The beef arrived well done and dry and the poor animal that delivered it must have been shot in an Attention position. One of the lowest beef qualities I had in an Algarve restaurant. The service was friendly and charming but with 17 rather demanding guests the one serving lady was at her limits. I’ll check you out again because you are a young team with a potential. Guys you can do that better!
Um belo jantar num final de tarde de verão, fiquei no exterior conforme sugerido pelo Sr. Pedro Lima pessoa super atenciosa e sempre disponível para o que lhe fosse perguntado, o espaço era espectacular, com respeito à comida cinco estrelas desde a canja ao javali com castanhas à sobremesa tudo fantástico, um lugar a quem for para esses lados a visitar porque vale a pena e por mim um lugar a voltar certamente, tanto pela comida quer pelo espaço quer pela simpatia do atendimento. We visited this restaurant with friends and enjoyed the food very much. The service was excellent and the staff really made you feel welcome. A short drive out of town into the countryside this restaurant is well worth a visit. It’s recommended that you book a table in advance so that you are not disappointed as this place is very popular.
Fantástico Restaurante. Jantar em grupo, todos os pratos estavam fabulosos mas uma especial referência para a Canja de Amêijoas, aos Rojões, ás Bochechas e ao Coelho. Os Bifes do Lombo á Portuguesa também maravilhosos. Boa carta de Vinhos com várias opções Preço. Sobremesas também excelentes.
Un sitio muy recomendable. El personal es encantador y la comida muy buena. Es mejor hacer reserva porque es difícil si no, porque suele estar lleno. Buena comida, muy buen vino... y el café .... en esta zona los cafés son una delicia.
Monte da Eira est depuis ans déjà notre restaurant préféré en Algarve. C'est cet équilibre parfait, rare, entre bon gout et humilité, dans les assiettes, dans le service et dans les lieux. Parfait pour nous. Book a table now
We had lunch here today. Very nice location. The duck rice was really nice. The carrob mouse dessert was fantastic. We will certainly go back when in the area.
