Look I hate to give Monterrey a great review, because I honestly don't want everyone there. The food was outstanding and the arrive was even better. I have never had such great service in this city. When I want Mexican food this is where I will go period. By the way the Sampler Platter is amazing and should be enjoyed. Mediocre at best. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was decent, and the restaurant was clean, but the food left much to be desired. Based on the reviews, I expected this place would be a repeat visit for me, but that’s not the case. It seemed like 90-95% of the food was microwaved, and the complimentary chips were stale. The prices felt a bit high for food that was largely reheated.
It was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Camarones a la Diabla. It was already spicy but I asked them to make it spicier and they did they even brought me a spicier sauce when I wanted even spicier. The staff is always very friendly and the food isalways delicious and you always leave will a full belly.

The fresh guacamole with jalapeños was excellent. However, the chile relleno...well, it wasn't really a relleno. It was just a small piece of bell pepper sitting in a little skillet, filled with ground beef and cheese.
