Our group of 6 had a disappointing experience at this restaurant before a show. Despite the good quality of the pinsas, they refused to accommodate any substitutions, making it hard for vegetarians to find suitable options. The roasted cauliflower dish was extremely spicy due to the Thai red chilis, rendering it inedible for many in our party. The service was lackluster, possibly due to the mandatory 20% tip added on to our bill, in addition to the tax and restaurant tax. With a total of $83 for a meatless pinsa, shared salad, and glass of wine, we found it to be overpriced. We will opt for another dining place next time we visit the City for a show. We love this place. Super friendly service, small but workable outside dining area on the curb, and great great food! I can't believe how light and fluffy the Gnocchi alla Romana are...no idea how they do it but don't miss it.
The pinsa and polpo (warm tender octopus) was as tasty an experience as on our last visit. The prosciutto and melon was a refreshing appetizer and the service was excellent!
I recently had lunch at Montesacro SOMA for the first time. Despite being quieter than usual, the pinsas and service were just as wonderful as always.
