On Friday, May 26th at 6 o'clock, I was a bit apprehensive due to some negative reviews I had read. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, it was quite busy and we hadn't made a reservation. Luckily, we were able to get a table and were promptly provided with water and silverware. The menu was diverse and reasonably priced. I decided to try the beef chili verde, which was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful, served with Spanish rice on the side. We had a small family dinner with 8 people earlier in the week. Staff were very friendly and super efficient! Drinks came out quickly and meals not long after. My husband and I shared a plate of beef nachos and beef Montizumas Delight, both were...very tasty and generous serving sizes. We had never had the Montizumas Delight before, the fresh salad was really nice and not a heavy meal we would have this again!
I've eaten at a few Montezuma restaurants over the years and whilst there food is delicious the serving sizes if their side dishes are way over-priced. A side of guacamole is about $5 for barely more than a heaped tablespoon full ... a rip off...... suggest take your own side dishes!!!
We have been to this restaurant a few times before and it has been decent, but tonight it was below average. We received incorrect orders that were soggy and messy. Overall, our experience tonight was very disappointing, especially since it was a family dinner.

had the takeover, probably the worst Mexican I had so, bland and over price. I had an over eats good, so was reduced otherwise would be called and complained
Would have to be the worst Mexican food we ever ate. Nothing more than plates of slop. Service very unprofessional. Would never ever go an eat there again.
The dishes were both impressive and lackluster. The rice was boiled. Overall, I was very disappointed. I will not be returning to eat here again.
