Just visited and was horrified by the lack of observance of Covid measures. No social distancing being encouraged in the shop in fact people were being encouraged into the very small shop alongside me, only cash taken, the girl who served my ice cream used the same gloves for cash, no staff wearing masks or visors. Will not be returning again and would recommend people find other places taking this pandemic more seriously. Very disappointing.
After relocating two doors down to new premises last year, Morelli Ice Cream has unveiled a variety of new and enticing treats. Whether you're in the mood for a simple cone or a decadent strawberry ice cream waffle, you won't be let down. Morelli Ice Cream prides itself on using only the finest ingredients in crafting their wide range of flavors. While there may be a line at times, the wait is definitely worth it.
Best ice cream in Newcastle I struggle to understand why you would go any place else to get ice cream whilst in Newcastle. The customer service and COVID-19 precautions taken by all staff was up to a very high standard. I couldn’t recommend enough!
Morellis ice cream is my favourite in Newcastle and the staff are so friendly, everything was clean and there was sanitizer for the customers. The young woman that served us was friendly and changed her gloves making extra effort due to COVID 19 Book a table now
The staff in morellis were very polite and were good at ensuring we used hand sanitiser and changed their gloves while we were being served. The ice cream tasted great and there was a great variety of flavours. We will definitely be back!!
This restaurant is perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The service was excellent, we were served quickly and were in and out within 10-12 minutes. The ice cream was delicious, especially the rum raisin flavor.
I had some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted at this restaurant. My only regret is that I only tried three flavors - vanilla, strawberry, and raspberry ripple - but they were all amazing.
The member of staff who served me was very polite and took very good hygiene precautions, the ice cream was extremely tasty and I will be visiting again next time I come to Newcastle Book a table now
