Morsbacher Hof - Table reservation

Heard good things about their breakfast, so arrived at the restaurant right after opening at am. No waiters were in sight, so we chose to sit inside to avoid smokers on the terrace. After minutes of waiting the waitress finally came by just...to tell us that if we want to order we should take a table outside and wait for another half an hour till she can take an order. That’s insane! We had to leave as my child was starving, wasted the whole hour and left very hungry and disappointed

Ich komme ab und zu gern mal hier hin, da es (quasi auch eins der einziges Cafés) sich hier zum Einkehren vor oder nach einer Wanderung lohnt. Der Kuchen ist selber gebacken. Die Einrichtung rustikal und gemütlich. Wenn es voll ist, wirkt es manchmal was chaotisch. Sehr ausgefallen und stets freundlich. Auf Grund der Tatsache, dass man hier etwas anderes bewerten muss als in der großen Stadt, sind vier Punkte doch angemessen.

Morsbacher Hof ligt 250m. van de Eifelsteig. Een heerlijke plek om te pauzeren. De entree is uitnodigend door een mooi binnenplaatje. Het cafè-restaurant bevindt zich zowel op de begane grond als op de 1e etage. Het is er knus en gezellig. De kaart is ruim voldoende. Morsbacher Hof is echt een aanrader!

This cafe is set in an old building in the hamlet of Morsbach. The service was very friendly and both the coffee and the huge breakfast were tasty and of a very high standard. Really rich jams, flavoursome cheeses and gorgeous slices of ham

Avoid this place. Ridiculously slow service, food is overpriced. The cup of decent coffee will cost you euro. Cakes are nothing special, breakfast coffee was served cold and disgusting
