I had a date with my wife. The food was astonishing, the presentation and the vibe romantic, modern, elegant and characteristic. The best duck liver pate and organic beef I ever had. We returned to Mortimers on 10th Feb to try their evening taster menu, having had an enjoyable lunch back in January which was our very first visit to Mortimers. The taster menu didn't disappoint, we both felt all the elements were outstanding. We were well looked after by all the staff and the evening was a perfect way for us to celebrate our 12th anniversary
We choose the resturant for our first wedding anniversary. And what an amazing choice. Camila was wonderful we felt very special. Little touches like our names on our menu and happy anniversary on some of our dishes. The wine pairing was exquisite. This is a very special very intimate experience . We have been to many Michelin star restaurants, Mortimers is up there with them minus the inflated prices. We indulged in the taster lunch menu (great value) and it didn't disappoint.The food, service and ambiance was top notch. We shall definitely be returning to this excellent restaurant. Went to Mortimers for an anniversary celebration. What a treat! The setting is atmospheric, in an old building with wood paneling. The food was fantastic and the staff were lovely. Highly recommended!
