This is my go-to ice cream spot in LA. While it may be on the pricier side, the quality is truly unmatched. Their flavors are incredibly creamy and rich, making it the best ice cream I've ever tasted. I usually opt for the triple milk with an additional flavor. The interior is charmingly decorated with various treats and trinkets for purchase. There is limited seating inside and outside on a bench. Conveniently located near a parking lot and additional seating, the service is always top-notch. I can't wait to visit again soon.
If you are a fan of Big Little Lies, you will be excited to know that the scene where they got ice cream was actually filmed at Mother Moo, not in Big Sur. A friend took me to this hidden gem in Southern California and I tried the fresh peach ice cream, which was absolutely delicious and melt in your mouth. I would give it a 10/10. While it may not compare to Salt and Straw, the ambiance of the restaurant was charming and they also sell stickers, candy, jams, pies, and other random items. I can't wait to come back!
Great selections of ice cream! I've tried some flavors I never even heard of. Special thanks and shout-out to Alex for letting me sample some awesome flavors and making great suggestions. She's very friendly and has great customer service skills. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in town!
