After a quick look into the menu of the day we ordered the chicken with salad and the burger with salad, as mentioned from the menu of the day, not from the full menu. 4 piece of bread and the water were served quite quick, but then the big waiting started. One salad arrived at 12:00. Then nothing happened. We saw other tables which have arrived later had got some food, so we tried to get the attention of a waiter. Everything started off well. We were seated promptly and our order was taken and everything seemed fine. The restaurant was not very crowded but the food took forever to arrive. All the servers seemed to be run off their feet taking orders, delivering food, clearing dishes, and taking payments. The food was good and we decided to order dessert. We asked for the dessert menus twice and eventually we received them after 25 minutes! Dessert came fairly quickly. However the wait was not the only problem. We had lunch today at the main restaurant at Movenpick Hotel. The staff were excellent and attentive. We ordered entree Greek salad and stay chicken, both of which were fresh and delicious. Our children ordered the set kids meal and were very happy with 3 courses. My wife ordered Pad Thai and I ordered Massaman beef curry. The beef was beautifully slowed cooked and the curry was sweet with subtly cardamom and star anise flavours. We very much enjoyed our meal. We are trying all of the resorts restaurants at the resort and will write further reviews, as we are staying in a lovely villa with our kids for 8 nights. Jeff at reception has been very professional with looking after our stay so far.
My husband's birthday is new year, so I'll have another table for 4 for a Sunday brunch on 2 January. It was a surprise for my husband. I asked for recollection to make sure they have brunch on that day, e.g. I wasn't sure about Kovid and they assured me they had DAS HAVE. We arrived there, the restaurant was almost empty and they told us that the brunch was canceled. I didn't say anything. All other redtaurants with brunch were of course fully booked. Thanks for making his birthday so unprepared....

I'm still somewhat confused about the setup, but adjacent/within the main hotel restaurant is a smaller room serving Chinese foods. I could never figure out if it was an actual part of the main restaurant or not, but they had their own menu and payment was made there and not at the cashier stand of the main restaurant.The food at the Chinese was great, as well as the service and friendliness of the wait staff.
Very good hotel near the airport, easy to connect train to any where in Swiss, staff very nice and friendly. You will be happy to help you during your stay. Room is very clean, bed are very comfortable, toilet is super clean and offer you all toilet naming. Breakfast very nice with all kinds of food, I recommend to stay in this hotel.
My wife and I went for the breakfast buffet and dinner. The service was very professional and courteous. The food was outstanding and of high quality. A good selection for the buffet menu and everything tasted great.
the morning buffet has such a wide variety of items, there is no way you go hungry. even an omlet station. the breads are fresh. the fruits and vegetables are fresh as well.

We were very pleased with our dinner. The service and the food were both excellent. If you are staying at the hotel there is no reason to go elsewhere for meals.
