Café Mozaic co proprietor Esther B. kindly answered our questions on Moroccan and Lebanese food on this Talk thread [hidden link] I visited Café Mozaic for lunch today to find Esther 's Moroccan husband Abdeljalil (AJ) holding the fort along with four other friendly staff. They were serving a lot of takeaways, but I chose to eat in they have about twenty covers with plenty of free seating when I visited, and a warm, Mediterranean vibe about the place. I used to be a regular customer and this was always one of the top diners in Tameside. Unfortunately, since AJ sold the business the food portions have massively decreased and the prices has rocketed. Today was my worst experience and I was charged £6.50 for a large box containing scraps of cold meat and rice. I work in the City centre and very few places charge this much for a lunchtime menu but the places that do, you are guaranteed quality. for far too long my hometown ashton is under lyne shortly before a food ice cream that offers an interesting alternative to the usual British lunch. then I had the pleasure to recommend a new caffe in the city mozaic, it is an authentic Moroccan establishment with all freshly prepared foods in front of location. from my first visit I was immediately greeted by the owner who is only too happy to taste them any of the exotic looking dishes before they buy. they can certainly say they are passionate about eating here. they can taste it in every mouth full. they really know that they are causes and can the ingredients of their dishes, offer servier suggestions or if they are hungry enough, they...
I really can't talk much about this place. eating is absolutely incredible; the quality of the ingredients is very high and the prices are extremely reasonable. I usually get a package that includes three sides; the price comes to £4.50 and it is massive. they have a variety in offer, so I would really recommend if they are in the opposite. I just wish they might be better at marketing themselves, so I would have found them earlier, I have passed over thousands of paints in the last ten years and only found out a few weeks ago! the work in ashton under lyne can be something depressing at midday, and I can be found regularly on the back of marks and spencer or sainsburys. that was until I discovered this little gem in the warrington street. Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine served by aj with a smile this place is really busy, but they can order before and. i always have the same. lemon chili huhn and halloumi on a ugly wrap with a side of spreadeta and cousin. an absolute bargain at £3,60 and beautifully spiced.
This spot is my preferred one. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The team is very helpful and the food they place on your table is so flavorful. I would always prefer to have a good meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.
There's a reason why you usually have to queue up at this little place. The food is gorgeous. Very tasty. Highly recommended.
