we wanted to eat here as we were needed somewhere with space to take up a double buggy. we have made the right choice. excellent service. wonderful food. each small ding is considered and supervised by high chairs, wrap mat and disposable babies. nothing is too much annoying. I would recommend herrn chippy in any case
we had an early lunch today and it was fantastic! I had the calamari that was perfectly boiled, the teig was light and not greasy or oily at all, my son had fish and chips, the teig was beautiful, the fish was beautiful and the chips! it is a shame that we live in suffolk, otherwise we eat here all the time!
Impromptu sunny day trip to York and fancied fish and chips, Mr Chippy did not disappoint!! Amazing food, lovely decor and fab, friendly staff. Portions were not skimpy and the food was fresh and delicious. Our new family favourite for food in York!! We'll be back

We dined at the restaurant section of Mr Chippy and were very impressed. It was clean and pleasant, and we could smell the delicious cooking coming from the kitchen.
Absolutely beautiful meal couldn't fault it at all, good portion sizes very friendly waitresses served really quick to and reasonable prices!
