Mr. Moose restaurant

It's almost impossible to get a really good place to eat while travelling. To find a nice spot other then Webbers is not easy. But Mr.Moose fits the bill. A difficult location to manage in the winter I'm sure but hopefully they will survive. This place has old world cottage charm and atmosphere. The food was excellent and the waitress was very nice and friendly. An incredibly varied menu and I understand it's all made fresh. Not sure how they can do that year round but anyway had the lasagna and wife had chicken parmesan and both were very good, but I'm pretty home made than frozen. Stopped for lunch New Years day. The restaurant is really cute and cozy and has a pretty decent menu. My husband had the homemade cream of mushroom soup with a grilled ham and Swiss and I had their fish and chips which were both really good. Prices are also very easy to live with. They had a full breakfast menu available too. Will definitely be returning.

On our way home from Toronto airport on a Saturday night. We've been watching reno's over the past couple of years and wanted to give it a try. We weren't disappointed! Service was excellent as was the food! I had the pulled pork and my husband had a hamburger. Generous portions and delicious! We will be returning!

Two of us stopped at this cozy restaurant off Hwy 11 N, just south of Gravenhurst. We ordered the cabbage rolls as well as the pickerel. Both mains were homemade and DELICIOUS. The portions were large, well seasoned, and tasty. Our server was friendly and efficient. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Had the most amazing breakfast today at Moose. Service was fast and friendly. Omlets are to die for. Great price too. Try it you will love it !!!!!!
