To make matters worse, he instructed his staff to take their time with my order and said they shouldn't rush because I was being rude. I couldn't believe his attitude. Thankfully, a young lady working at the cash register was much more professional and managed to smooth things over. Honestly, she showed more competence than you, Jose.
I also contacted corporate to share my experience and let them know that locations like this one are falling short. If you're hungry in the area, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, like Lucca's Deli across the street. They offer far superior food and outstanding customer service.
I considered coming here for lunch today, but I haven't visited since they opened because I experienced some of the rudest and most degrading customer service I've ever encountered. I left a review on Yelp, and the owner responded by harassing me, even telling me to "f***ing die" in several messages. Despite this, I thought I might give it another chance after all these years, so I checked the recent reviews first. Thanks to the numerous negative comments, I've decided to stay away for good. I can't believe this place is still in business given all the complaints about their customer service. I will continue to avoid it.
I had the same experience as some others have stated....I arrived on a weekday morning and there were two women who just looked at me for a while and did not greet or serve, but just kept talking. They were fully aware i was there waiting. Eventually, one of them did attend to me but acted as if she was doing me a favor and with attitude. She eventually just tossed my sandwich in the bag , again with attitude.I like the sandwhics but this sort of lazy non-customer service will make people avoid coming here.

The place has Flys everywhere. The tables are messy. The sandwich was smeared with sauce. It's the worst place to get a sandwich. They really let this place go from when it 1st opened.. ordered a tri tip sandwich and it was freezing cold.
remember a sourdough roll that was a thing of beauty..... got one off the shelf at your nearby lucky supermarket instead , ordered extra meat and did not get it...
Too pricey! We ordered 2 sandwiches, 3 drinks, and 1 bag of chips, plus we got 2 complimentary chocolate chip cookies, and the total came to $45, including tip!
We went in last Sunday and they were short staffed and did such an amazing job handling the big crowd ??? sandwiches was so good, I'll be back!
