Strongly motivated to challenge and offend the (maybe Chinese speaking) customer, when their ordering machine did not work properly. The man and woman in the storecame up with various reasons to scold customer like ?you must forget to click pay?, ?your card is problematic?, ?you need tocontact your bank?, etc, ruthlessly asked for different payment methods and tapped on your phone without a word. She complained about not having enough time to clean the table and asked me why I chose that particular seat, which I found infuriating. As a customer, I expected to be seated wherever I wanted, especially since no one was there to guide me, so I chose my favorite spot. I couldn't understand why she treated me this way—was it because I’m an international student or because I speak Chinese?

I had a terrible experience with the beef bowl. It was probably the worst I've ever tasted. The shredded beef was mostly fat, and at least half of the bowl was filled with cabbage. The dish had a sour flavor, and the meatballs were very peculiar—they didn't resemble ground beef at all and looked more like liver. Overall, it was truly disappointing.
It was okay by LA standards. We ordered the Yunan Special Mixian. The broth was flavorful but blend and didn’t taste like quite like authentic Yunan rice noodle soup.The cold dish Spicy beef was the highlight of the whole meal.

oh my this is really good. Affordable price around UCLA campus. In fact I keep to come back to this place couple times in few days. It’s not nice to someone not speak mandarins or Cantonese tho but worth it a try I mean.
The broth was quite bland. I plan to return to try their rice dishes, which seemed appealing, but I wouldn't order the soup noodles again, as they are supposed to be their specialty.

The mixian are all fantastic, and I really enjoy the marinated seaweed as a side dish.
