I’m updating my review because I was about to give a harsh critique, but I’ve noticed improvements. Your staff seems much better now, which was my main concern. I really appreciate the hard work they’re putting in. I’m raising my rating from one star to four stars. The subs are great, no complaints there. The atmosphere is a bit dull, but it’s a sub shop, so that’s expected. The lines can be slow, but I still enjoy coming here now.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and I was impressed! The place was very clean, had plenty of seating, and the menus were clear and easy to read. The staff was friendly, there was a nice selection of chips and drinks, and the food was excellent. There’s ample parking and two entrances, which is convenient. If you enjoy sandwiches or hot subs, this is definitely the spot for you!
Part of an experience at a food joint is also customer service. In the South Plainfield location, the older gentleman with glasses is not friendly and stares you down. I got a sub with no cheese but they said cheese at the register and I said no, nocheese. He then muttered something to the guy beside him and slammed my sub down. The food is great, though
I ordered a chicken cutlet with pepper jack cheese, Fried onions, Chipotle ranch and lettuces on a wheat sub roll. I received fried onions,and tomatoes(didn't even ask for those) on a white sub roll. Then when I purchase my sandwich I had to ask for abag to put it in. But he gave everyone else a bag. I'm totally disappointed it Mr. Subs. Book a table now
This was not my first time that I felt slighted there. I am a supporter of all of SP. Today I thought, let?s give this place one more try. I ordered Turkey Provolone with the works. I got all works with no Turkey to soak it up. It?s not worth 10, oreven 7 that. This place gives you bread and condiments of which I threw away.
Goods subs. But make sure you watch them while they make your sandwich. they will screw it up EVERY SINGLE TIME. been coming here for 10+ years. and i can assure you, they will forget something at least 3/5 times. it’s honestly unbelievable. Can’t even find competent sandwich makers these days LOL
Mr. Subs in South Plainfield never disappoints! The subs are always fresh, tasty, and generously stuffed. A special shoutout to James behind the counter—he’s super friendly, fast, and makes sure every order is perfect. Great spot for a quick, delicious lunch! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Decided against my better Judgment to stop in for a sub Ordered a half roast beef With Provolone with the works. What I got was a sub With the works!!!Very little meat to need found. Sub came to 9 bucks I had a SALAD for that price Skip this place Not avalue Book a table now
First the person who was making my sandwich came from outside with her friends and started making my food didn't wash her hands and her sweater was touching my food as it was being prepared!!! Iwill never come here again promise that
