Not great value for the vegetarian banquet.
Came here with a large group and four of us were vegetarian or vegan. We watched as the meat eaters in our group had more and more food piled on for them, while we made do with a few small dishes suitable for 1-2 people, but shared between 4. It's a pity, because the food was delicious, so we would have liked some more! Also, instead of coming up with vegan substitues for certain dishes, they simply took them off the banquet menu - but didn't reduce the price! The vegetarians ended up paying $57 for a small amount of food, while the regular banquet is $67 and was an ample amount (plus - meat is more expensive). I don't know if they just mis-catere...
Great menu! Lively .. you can order food upstairs while you're waiting to be seated downstairs as they don't take bookings so a wait could be up to 2 hrs.
Interesting cuisine fusions, exaggerated tastes in a pretty well done kinda way. Music way too loud - though that seems to be the theme in Sydney eateries I have found..

But overall a great place to eat. Very tasty!
Also in close walking distance to the kings cross bars should you feel the need for some after dinner drinks, though miss G's caters quite well to that too!
Staff were friendly and personable, the food was fantastic and the online booking system was great- we were seated at the table we requested. Although we weren't provided with a menu upon being seated, when we asked for one the waitress was apologetic attentive for the rest of the evening. We found it was a somewhat expensive however perfect for a special occasion. Food was tasty a great selection. Cocktails were great also, unique options.
Ordered the banquet menu - 10 dishes at $67 p.p. which is good for a first-timer. People were not lying when they said that the cheeseburger springrolls are delicious! The highlight of my night was the Hongo Bongo dessert - the strawberry sangria, watermelon balls and the mochi were exquisite elements of the dish that left me wanting more. Would go back just for that dessert dish (first pic) which was a 10/10 for me. Food was 6/10.

Mickey mouse Vietnamese food. Place hasn't kept the quality it started with. The cheese burger spring roll and ribs is interesting to try. Cocktails are good. Skip the crispy calamari pancake. Desserts are not great. Food is generally expensive for what is served. Toilets smell and are not clean.
It's over priced and the food was ok. Service is great and seating is limited. I Diddnt like that we sat at a bench and had to hear everyone's conversations because they were sitting right next to us on the bench.
Cheeseburger spring rolls and chicken katsu the highlights :) so yummy. Can't wait to go back to try more things !!! We had the calamari pancake , chicken wings and lamb ribs too
Nothing to rave about. Decent selection of wines, which are quite overpriced. Food was alright, again, overpriced for what you get. Staff were nice, attentive and friendly.

Really enjoyed Ash St. Working in wine industry we were delighted by wine list and the interesting but simple accompanying menu. Waiting staff helpful to a tee.
