We arrived at 6 PM, and the staff were very helpful in guiding us through our choices. We ordered the mango lassi, veggie biryani, chicken Chettinad, and papadum. The mango lassi was deliciously sweet, almost like a smoothie. The veggie biryani was bursting with spices and flavor, while the chicken Chettinad was incredibly tasty and had a nice kick of spice. We enjoyed dipping naan bread into the sauce. The papadum was decent, especially with the two dips that came with it. Overall, it's definitely worth a try!
This was my first time trying Indian food and I’m glad I chose Mumbai spice. The food was so good. We had the chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, chicken samosa, naan, chicken biryani.We were a party of 2 and we had a wait time of about 5 mins. Ourserver was friendly and even recommended drinks we could try. The drinks are really good too. I love spicy food so I was reallypleased when the rice we got was actually spicy as requested! I highly recommend Mumbai spice, you will not be disappointed!
The food is really great! Getting Jain food is also the option. But, the weather was windy and getting chilly at night so we requested if they can give the inside table. But they refused to accommodate us and 3 different people gave different reasons for not accommodating us. Also, once we gave the CC for payment took all the plates not even asked that are we done or not?Can definitely get more stars if they are open for accommodating and working as a team.

Generally good Indian good, not as sophisticated in spices as some fancier Indian cuisine. Service is great. Unfortunate that they have a TV playing, detracts some the usual calming presence of an Indian restaurant. The meal moves a little quicker than I'd want, so only need about an hour for a full meal there. Extremely convenient for concerts at Symphony Hall.
Love to return to this updated nice restaurant and eat dinner at Mumbai Spice every so often. Excellent, very friendly and quite prompt service and very tasty food and drinks. For us the perfect spot to have dinner before going to a concert at Symphony Hall or New England Jordan Hall. We will be back!
Attended a business meeting here and it was the best decision ever. I’m not sure if it was the sales pitch or the food, but one of them won my client over so I have no complaints whatsoever. Definitely try the cauliflower. It’ll blow your mind. Everything else is also outstanding.
It’s a good restaurant! We had the goat and chicken biryani. The pieces of goat were tender and well-cooked with no unpleasant smell. The Mango Lassi and Goan Cooler were both good, but I found the Mango Lassi to be better compared to the Goan Cooler.

The restaurant was closed!!! Despite getting a confirmation for the reserve, when we arrived we found the restaurant locked. We were very surprised and disappointed. We had to take out food from another establishment and eat in our car.
Staff is brilliant. We had a lovely time. Food is standard so no surprises. Good food.
