Decorated with colorful artworks and fizzling lights, the Bavarian restaurant was the centre of attraction in the past fortnight as it was near one of the venues for Vivid Sydney. The energetic and trendy beer restaurant offers an assortment of classic German fare including pretzels, sausage platters and schnitzels. I got myself a giant Jagerschnitzel or crumbed chicken topped with wild mushroom ragout and poached broccoli. The crumbed chicken was wonderfully marinated but was a little soggy and mushy. Nonetheless, there was not much complaints but I probably would not go back again.

Find us on instagram: loveatfirstbite_aus  Great German place in the Rocks that does authentic German food. We ordered the Bavarian tasting platter that came with crispy pork belly, sausages, schnitzel, sauerkraut, red cabbage creamy mash, granny smith apple compote and beer jus. We also ordered some beer. The meat was tender and the portions were huge, we couldn't finish it between the 3 of us, definitely a place for meat lovers! instagram.com

Great German food, their tasting platter for one was very large and enough for two if you get entrees. We got the tasting platter, salmon and cream cheese dip, and pickles. Great vibe too, they had a nail hitting competition and very cool band playing. Some waiters were super friendly but really hard to get their attention and when we did manage to catch them, it took quite a while for them to get back to us. Seemed like they were understaffed. Overall, good night out but service was quite slow.

The dinning environment was quite nice, with the stylish decoration. Plus there was live music on Friday/Saturday night as I remember. The service was quick. Had knuckle and some sausages and a beer. The knuckle was ok, not too dry. The sausages was really ordinary, nothing special.
