I had breakfast here with a friend. Although they have a nice outside sitting area we preferred to sit inside for our breakfast. We ordered from a breakfast menu and found everything we were looking for from an extended German spread to a croissant...with jam. The service was fast and friendly. The interior matches the historic outside of the building. I enjoyed this cafe very much.
this place has not changed an iota, as we visited him again as a nervous young soldier and his wife in 1976. some may call the inner glomie, I would say atmospheric, it is like back to 1940. if the weather is in order, it is great. sitting outside and relaxing with a curry sausage and wine. eating is good, the cakes are amazing. a beautiful place for lunch or afternoon tea.
a large caffe with many sitting options and a good selection of cakes and dingen to eat. Unfortunately, the experience was destroyed by terrible service and they were not even busy, so no apology. they need to get some new employees who are interested. in good customer service with a smile.
Stopped here early afternoon for a snack and drink. Great selection of cakes and pastries, although we chose savoury instead: bratwurst with potato salad and smoked salmon with salad. Service was acceptable and I think it probably helped that we could speak a few words...of German Book a table now
beautiful selection of cake, good coffee. the atmosphere was somewhat cold, unspecific. I assume it is a place where they would only enter for a kind of fast coffee in between, nothing special to recommend it, but nothing wrong with it.
Lively place with a great atmosphere. Sit outside and enjoy a beer or wine and watch the world go by or admire the 500 year old interior and have a cake or a meal. You will enjoy it.
We waited to have orders taken, we waited a long time for drinks and an even longer time for our food. Notwithstanding the bother.
