I attempted to work with this business since they are one of the few that cook Belizean food. Literally the hardest thing to find. However I think its ridiculous to charge a $1,500 minimum for catering especially when the owner is not responsive or seemingly friendly to your outreach. When I initially messaged her I never got a response this was on Instagram and her website (months past). I messaged her again on FB and she abruptly informed they only do catering, it took an hour before she responded to my next message and then sent me a menu with no prices..... I did not get a response after i requested pricing for items. The customer service needs to be way better. I would not recommend.
The food was fantastic, definitely a 10/10! My Belizean Gourmet catered a dinner at my workplace and the owner was incredibly accommodating. This was my first time trying authentic Belizean cuisine, and I was blown away by how amazing everything was. I’ve never tasted potato salad like that before; it was so creamy and delicious! The plantains were perfectly sweet, the rice and beans were well-seasoned, and the bread pudding was spot on! I highly recommend them for all your food and catering needs!
Tara is an amazing caterer. I booked her for my birthday bash and she did a phenomenal job! Very professional, organized, and friendly! You can tell that she loves her craft because it reflects in her work. What I enjoyed the most is her ability to be detail-oriented when it came to bringing the menu that I picked for my event to come to life so beautifully. I would definitely recommend Belizean Gourmet Catering for anyone looking to book quality.
Tara did an incredible job catering my husband's farewell BBQ before his deployment. The food was bursting with flavor, and the ribs were so tender they practically fell off the bone. I also appreciated Tara's professionalism; she was easy to communicate with and delivered everything on time and with great care. I'm looking forward to working with Tara again in the future! You won't regret booking her!

Tara catered our daughter's graduation party, and everyone couldn't stop talking about the food. The pulled pork, BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, and collard greens were all absolutely delicious. Tara was very responsive and helpful while I was placing my order, and she arrived right on time on the day of the event. I would definitely recommend her!

I used MBG for the catering of my 21st birthday party and my guests and I throughly enjoyed the food. Tara was so accommodating to our food allergies and the specific menu that I wanted. My family members even said that they would love to use MBG for their own events. Thank you Tara!
