My friend had never tried Thai food before, so I decided to take him to Mommy Thai, which is known for its delicious dishes. The restaurant only has about 6 tables, so it's best to make a reservation. The food was incredible, some of the best Thai food I've ever had. We all shared appetizers and the flavors were amazing, especially the tangy Umami sauce. I ordered the Pad Thai for myself and my friend tried a dish that he loved (I can't remember the name, but it was delicious!). I think my friend is now a fan of Thai food. The prices were very reasonable, only £75 for four dishes, starters, and drinks.
Was tipped off about this place by a friend and went there for lunch yesterday. Two course lunch with a soft drink for £8.95, and we weren't disappointed. I had chicken kow soi, and my wife had prawn green curry and they were both delicious. It was only once we'd eaten that I thought I should have taken photos as the food was very nicely presented too. We will definitely be going back there again. The only warning I would give is that they only have a few tables, so if you want to dine in you should probably book in advance.
I took me. there are some good Thai restaurants in and around york, but only a few supply. for my first job I have a lot of appetizers, suppe and pad thai with crispy chicken. pork spits, spring rolls and fish cakes were excellent as the suppe. pad thai may sometimes be a bit bland, but not this. would highly recommend this place and look forward to a new order, especially since the prices are all very reasonable for the quality.
The restaurant is cozy, with a wide-ranging menu. Despite a delay in serving due to high demand for takeout orders and being a family-run establishment, the dining experience was wonderful. The pad thai was exceptional, with generous portions and affordable prices. I highly recommend it.

Small place with nice intimate informal feel. Great decor. Attentive service and moat importantly delicious food and very generous portions! Tip when you order Pad Gra Pao and they ask you how spicy you like it.....don 't say spicy ask me how I know....
The Thai food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and incredibly authentic! However, be cautious, as just one chili is already very spicy. Two chilies are definitely not recommended! The decor of the restaurant is also very well done.
