My Thai Bad Soden - Table reservation

Due to family in the area I have visited this place regularly over the last years. It's got a rather modern style decor, so if you expect some dingly-dangly traditional Thai restaurant with colorful decorations and oriental background music you'll be surprised. The quality of the food, the friendliness, food selection, and cleanliness of My Thai are all top class. Portion sizes are decent, not too much but easily filling. It's a restaurant I would recommend to my boss to dine at. Why only 4 stars? Love the spacious restaurant...good for family restaurant. You order at the counter and they bring the dishes to your table. Great set up, but the food was just mediocre. Soup was salty and tasteless. Appetizers were good but so small portion that very hard to share with family. Other dinner dishes were just ok...don't consider them as original Thai foods. Don't order the thai ice team, no good at all. Ambience is good. I give them 3.5 stars. If they improve the dishes little bit, I would give them 4.5 or even 5 stars. They have good parking lot too. They have everything they need to be a great restaurant if they improve their recipe and few minor management improvements. Price is reasonable...

It is good Thai food but nothing spectacular. I have an impression that the taste of the meals vary from day to day. Perhaps some chefs cook better than the others.
