The food at this restaurant was really good. I tried the gyro lunch special and it was delicious. The service was quick and friendly. I would give it 3 stars, but I was disappointed that they charged $2.99 for a glass of seltzer and an extra $2.99 for refills. I was confused when I received my check and saw that I was charged twice for seltzer, both for $2.99 each. I'm not sure how to address this issue with the owner.
The portions at this restaurant are huge, especially for lunch. While many places give out small portions of chicken, this place gave more than I could eat in one sitting. The chicken was good, but it could have been more tender as it was a bit dry. The chicken lemon soup that came with it was just okay. Overall, everything, including the tzatziki, was not as flavorful as I had hoped.
If you haven’t eaten here, you are missing out on a great meal and atmosphere. The food is excellent and authentic Greek food. The service was great and the owner is right there. We enjoyed all of the meals and drinks. Interactive with the staff was great. I earned the cup of shame and drank from it proudly. You have to go here and experience the whole atmosphere. This restaurant was amazing! After reading the reviews, we had high expectations, but they were exceeded. The service was phenomenal, with quick meal service and large portions. The food was absolutely delicious. Overall, we give it a perfect score of 5 for the food, service, and atmosphere.
The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere that made me feel like I was enjoying a meal with friends. It was great to chat with the owner, who has been running the family business since 1993. I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere all 5 out of 5.
Who goes on a two-week vacation when they own a restaurant? The hours indicated that they were open, but when we arrived, they were closed with a sign on the door saying they would be back on 8/30/23 for vacation. Seriously?
