Wife took me there for my birthday tonight. I’m a huge fan of Myron, he’s the reason I got in to bbq and I do a lot of it at home. The owner was there and he came by our table multiple times to check on us and struck up conversation. The food was great! The best BBQ I’ve ever had, We started off with burnt ends and let me tell you they melted in your mouth. I got the brisket and the smoked sausage links. The brisket had a very night smoke ring and past the “pull test” the sausage links had a nice smoke flavor and the spicy mustard they had went really well with it. 1st time trying this BBQ spot it was pretty good I can't even lie. I am from the south so my expectations isn't that high for BBQ up here but I was pleased with Myron . I got the 2 meat platter ribs and brisket then my sides were French fries and Mac and cheese . The only disclaimer was the BBQ sauce that was on the table the 3 choices my buddy or I didn't like any of them they could do better with that and I only had 1 small container of ketchup it was like they were being conservative with it at either put the ketchup on the table or provide more I love ketchup with my fries which it was a nice size portion of french fries . But overall I do recommend giving this spot a try
My son lives in the area and took us to Myron Mixon's for dinner last night. Excellent bar-b-q. We each had something different so we could try different meats and were not disappointed at all. The brisket was so tender and delicious. The pulled pork was tasty. The sausage, my husband's pick, was so good. The cole slaw, fries, mac and cheese, amd gumbo were all yummy too. We all cleaned our plates and were glad we had to walk a bit to the car. We will be back.
Awesome place ! Food was very yummy . Our server was great ! on top of everything . I feel bad I forgot his name but it was tonight around 6ish and we had 6 ppl plus a small baby .
