My husband heard about a friend who saw it on Triple D's Diner. We tried their paprika and sausage deep-court pizza, thin crust cheese pizza, hot dogs and their infamous beef sandwich. All were delish. We made two visits since we were in the area. Your customer service was great, and the food was delivered quickly! The hot dogs came with fries that tasted homemade. Actually, I wanted a second hot dog. The deep bowl is DEFINITELY filling. We have the little one for two, but we didn't finish it in a session. Definitely one of the better deep plates I tried in Chicago.
From this restaurant in the Marriot I stayed on the street. When I came in, I asked about something that would define Al's Beef. I ordered the number one, or the beef sandwich with spicy paprika and cheddar cheese. This sandwich was by far one of the best beef sandwiches I ever had, and I would highly recommend this facility to my friends. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. All in all, I give this place an A and will return when I am back in the Chicago area.
First time eating at Al's beef. It was delicious. I had the sandwich and fries. Both were great. Had the sandwich dunked. Wow. . That made all the difference. The fries were crispy and delicious. Didn't have room to try the pizza after that but definitely will on my next trip to Chicago.
Omgosh... the Italian Beef sandwich (dipped) was DELISH!!! This sandwich was bursting with flavor!! The buffalo fries were on point, also! I waa saying in the Marriott and Al's is just across the street. Perfect location

Go and get the BIG BEEF with sweet peppers, and make sure they DUNK that whole thing in the juice!!! AWESOME Chicago beef sandwich!!
I like most of their food but the place is dirtyI was the first customer of the day and the floors needed sweeping (at a minimum).
My girlfriend and i went here for an early lunch (11 am) and we were very disappointed The decor is ok.
Nice staff, food was good. A little pricy, but worth it.
