Nandos is a great fast casual option if you enjoy rotisserie style chicken with a bit of spice. Even if you don’t, their menu runs the gamut of options with a ton of good apps and sides. This location is very busy being right across from the museum and while service was pretty fast, it wasn’t great and everyone seemed a bit confused who was working there. All that said, the food was still awesome and worth coming back for time and time again! There is free soda refills but it’s a bit confusing on if you can get it or your server does. Toilets are clean but down a long staircase.
We arrived at a busy time, were given an option to be added to a list and come back, and did that when we still had a little wait on returning, we were kept informed, and kept comfortable. When we reached our table, we were offered a free starter to say thank you for waiting patiently! Food and drinks arrived promptly and were good as ever. We were well looked after and made most welcome somehow once we were seated, the restaurant felt very relaxed despite being busy. No mean feat, but feels like this is a good team. Thank you!
I pre ordered takeout as I wouldn’t be in the area until right before close. The manager greeted me by name (I guess I was their last takeout order for the day) and asked if I needed cutlery or extra sauces. The meal was ready when I got there, and it was perfectly hot when I got back to my hotel. I didn't catch the managers name but he was working Sunday, June 11 right before closing time, he was extremely kind, thank you for your care!
My wife, daughter me dined Nando's Chambers St in early July. We were craving for some spicy food since we were travelling in Europe for the last 10 days. We had 2 of the Peri Peri Chicken with rice fries and a sunset burger. The food was very good. Most of the staff are students. All in all a good experience.

We arrived after a city tour but 15 minutes before the restaurant’s kitchen closing. The staff were amazing, the food was great. They stayed past closing time for us to finish. Possibly the tastiest Nando’s we’ve had in a while and we are Nando’s experts. Thank you Nando’s Edinburgh- you were gracious hosts.
I need some of these in the US. So efficient, food was incredible. Took a little time for it to come out but patience is a virtue for good food. Sauces are put out. Only criticism is the salt doesn’t come out of any of the shakers we tried.
Seemed ok when we got inside. But the staff did not greet us. It took 8minutes to get a table even if there were lots of free tables. Had to wait for 27minutes from we placed the order till the food arrived. A ok meal, but nothing more.
Went to The Edinburgh Tattoo decided to eat at Nando’s Chambers Street food very good as always but on this occasion it’s the staff I want to praise a very hectic night yet they could not do enough for our party of four
