Great food and good service! I came here for brunch and sat in the outside area they built out in the front of the restaurant. This area of Downtown Napa is a little more quiet compared to others so it was enjoyable to sit outside and take in the beauty of the town while I ate. I had the Petaluma Chicken Emanada and a bowl of fruit. My goodness the empanada was sooo delicious. I ordered a champagne drink that had a scoop of raspberry sorbet in it (I can?t remember what it was called) and it was very refreshing and a perfect brunch drink pairing.
All right. Expects better from the reviews. The shrimp appetizer was very sharp (I like spicy, but not so much taste to him except heat, although there is a lot of them). We ordered a glass of wine to go with the appetizer, ordered a bottle to enjoy at the same time with dinner. Our Entrees came to our server had forgotten what bottle we ordered, so they had to get it, so it came to our Entrees. Overall experience was overwhelming as well as eating, and I do not think that we will return to Napa, especially given other better options.
Service was incredibly fast here, from the time we sat Uintil, we had our food before us about 15 minutes. And the food... oh my goodness, it was delicious! We had the Ricotta ravioli, and the sea sheds with basil potato puree, and Tempura Greenbeans. The most amazing flavor combinations, all perfectly cooked. Recommend this restaurant and will definitely return when I return to Napa.
Beautiful Friday outdoor dinner experience. Courteous Host and Server. House Chardonnay was smooth and buttery. Basil Lemonade refreshing. With the special Halibut on a bed of seasoned mash, flava..was tasteful. The summer Veg Risotto was great. Turned off with Vanilla Bean Natilla Tres Leches. Overall a great experience..
