You will not find a better and more authentic Italian restaurant in Zurich. The reviews do not meet this place. Of course, people are jealous or do not understand what a good Italian restaurant is. The pasta with truffle and chocolate is so creative and tasty to really die with the meat. Gerardo puts his heart and soul in food and entertains the guests. What is even more impressive is how favorable it is. Gerardo is such a nice guy and often invites you for Prosecco and Desert. If you know Zurich, you'd be happy to find one of these things. Everybody together? It's just Napoli. That can say confidently. Can not recommend enough!
We were lucky that the restaurant wasn't very busy. The food was served quickly and the boss served us very nicely. A small Prosecco, fine warm bruschetta, a limoncello and watermelon wedges were offered by the boss. Very very generous. We ordered different dishes and shared them between the four of us, which wasn't a problem. We constantly received new dishes. The food was very tasty, first two plates of pasta and then two plates of meat/fish. He was also very accommodating to us when it came to the price. Simply great! We had a lovely evening and would love to come back.
Overall a nice experience, the person serving us was probably the owner himself and told us that the restaurant is over 80 years old. Service: we were very happy with the service as they served complimentary drinks with very tasty Bruschetta and after our order they also served complimentary Watermelon slices which was really thoughtful and nice. I haven’t seen any restaurant doing such things for their guest. Service: service was also quick and nice, cannot comment with a full house as when we went there we were the only ones.
The food was good, but unfortunately the boss is evil in my opinion. He constantly yelled at the employees. Very long waiting times, we waited almost 40 minutes until the drinks were served to us. Definitely a reason for me not to go anymore. There was live music, which was nice, but unfortunately it was too loud and it was hard to have a conversation.

Never again. Table reserved for 8pm. We got the table at 9pm. Waiting for order more than 30 Minutes. Ate the starter at 22:30!!! Second course of course hours waiting. Never again. No apology. Pasta was also not good. Never got the water we ordered. No waiters. Never again.
We were passing through and were thirsty for food and drink. On a normal Tuesday evening at 11:30 p.m. our concerns were heard in this excellent tavern! We give it 12 out of 10 points! Wonderful hospitality, excellent food and a great experience. We will be back!
Definitely the best restaurant I have ever been to. It looks awesome from inside outside, the staff is more than friendly the food is just delicious! Definitely a place to keep in mind.
We loved the place, the food and the owner Gerardo is lovely! We had the means that he cooks before you and it was one of the softest flesh I tried in my life.
