I was very eager to try out this restaurant. I ordered a lamb gyro with white and red sauce, along with an extra pita bread. Unfortunately, they forgot the red sauce and the additional pita bread. After seeing the owner's response, I am not sure how to reply, so I will just do my part. Despite the missing items, I still enjoyed the meal. I apologize for not mentioning this in my initial review. Overall, I would recommend this place.
This is our second time visiting Naqs and the flavors are still great, but the portions are quite small compared to other restaurants. They serve their dishes on a tear plate, so you don't get much food. We tried to order the new zinger, but it wasn't available yet, so we settled for a spicy chicken sandwich instead. It tasted similar to a fried chicken sandwich you can get elsewhere, but the brioche bun was better quality.
I ordered 2 mixed dishes over rice without any white sauce on top. Unfortunately, my order did not come with a spoon or fork, which I believe should be a standard inclusion. I also requested extra hot sauce on the side, but it was not provided to me.
The food at this restaurant was good, but the service had a bit of attitude. I had placed an order in advance, but they forgot to make my wings until they had already packed up my platter. Book a table now
The food at this restaurant is excellent. I have sampled the lamb chicken over rice, the spicy Thai chicken wings, and a cheeseburger, and all of them were delicious!
Mashallah, Alhamdulillah. The best American food in New York City. The owner is very hospitable and really took care of me and my friend.
Excellent food for the price. Portions where just right. The food and the sauce taste home made so that always a great experience.
