National is one of my favorite places in the Bronx. I often find myself spending quite a bit here because I truly appreciate the staff and the delicious food. Their freshly baked goods are absolutely tempting. I highly recommend trying the tuna melt and the patty melt! However, honestly, everything I’ve eaten here has exceeded my expectations. I have never been disappointed with National.
Best diner in the Bx hands down!!! Eventhough the owner is a Mets fan and this is a review from a Yankees fan lol.. the turkey soup is too die for!! Everything on the menu is excellent well prepared and very clean. The staff is professional service is out of this world. My wife and I love this place I highly recommend going if you never tried it.. This is our 2022 version of 'Cheers '!
Clean and sanitary. The service is impeccable. The waitresses are accommodating and always eager to please no matter if it is a special item you want included on the food order or not. Warm and welcoming attitudes that leave you eager to return again and again. Always at the top of their service game and customers appreciate the relaxed feel they leave you with.
