National Bakery And Deli

I visited last Saturday afternoon and I am African American. Not only was I glared at as if why I am even entering the establishment...but I got odd looks from staff behind the counter as if I were going to hold up the place. Cashier seemed like she was nervous in my presence and struggling to be courteous to me. This is telling of these hateful times we live in and clearly they are not used to seeing a black woman walk through their door let alone probably residing in their little village. My favorite bakery in South Milwaukee. I can't say enough good things about the quality and service. We order cakes from here, the custom designs exceed all of our expectations and everyone always asks where we got the cake from. I highly recommend the donuts here as well! The Apple Persian is my favorite donut ever. Ham is excellent too

Great bakery with friendly staff and a history to the Milwaukee area. They have fun cookies for the kids and a variety of crispy cookies to choose from. Their danishes are delicious and they offer a wide variety of bakery and deli items.

Absolutely the best cakes ever!! Anytime we have a celebration at work all my employees ask for these cakes!!
