So I got two orders of hash browns and an order of sausage and linguica. I was hoping theyd put the two hash browns in one box and the two meats in another, but instead they made them like meals with potato and meat in each box. I really disnt like that. I would have preferred them all boxed separately than boxed in that manner. Very annoying. Hash browns kinda mushy and the linguica could have definitely been more crispy. Will stick to dougs for future orders.
My favorite pie is Rhubarb (ONLY) NO strawberries. Shame on who 1st thought of doing that lol My 2nd favorite is this Berry pie is so delicious. I'm scared to even think that thought, how delicious it is. Everytime I think how excited to find something I love, then it disappears. It's a well balance between the sweet and the sour.
My go to never fail for breakfast whenever I want it, this location rocks! Excellent team, piping hot delicious food, always clean and prompt service. Glad to have a Bay Area institution down the street from my place. The fresh flowers on the table are a nice touch. 10/10.
The grilled chicken burger came on a dry bun, barely covering half of it, and with a wilted piece of lettuce. No mustard or grilled onions that I ordered. The grilled ham and cheese doesn't look anything like the picture and was only half as thick. Not impressed at all. Book a table now
I ordered the bacon cheese burger and chili fries, the burger was ok, but the chili fries was terrible, they put 2 slices of cheese that didn't even melt, the chili was cold and the fries were old.
I wasn't impressed. They lost me when they said they put miracle whip on the burger. They did have a mayo option. The food just wasn't good to me. The pies might be more of the attraction.
The place is great, I get breakfast and dinner from here fairly often from how good the burgers and french toast are. Never had a single wrong order from the place either.
Burger and tart were great. But the fries were lukewarm, limp, rubbery. The coffee and ketchup were missing. Usually the order is right. This time it wasn't. Book a table now
The staff were friendly and efficient with delivering the food. The BLT was delicious and the banana cream pie was amazing.
