Nawab Indian Cuisine

We enjoy their lunch buffet. They alter what is being served from day to day so that it never gets boring. At least one dish each day is a bit spicy, but not overly. The vegetable curries are bright with none of the heavy muddiness of some other Indian restaurants. Each day has long-grained rice with a fresh clean flavor and a perfect just past al dente consistency. If you are lucky, you might be there when they have the special fish dish with a bright reddish brown sauce that is amazing over the rice. I'm not good with the names, but the potatoes with mixed vegetables is worth the trip alone. Chicken dishes with occasional beef ones alongside vegetables specialities are the norm. Fresh warm...

The nicest staff and best food are the only reason I want to return to the Norfolk, Virginia Beach area. My wife and I visited the Military Highway location religiously and even attended the New Years Eve party there. I've eaten at Indian restaurants in Virginia, Florida, California, and Japan but none of these places matched the quality or experience that You'll find here! Can't wait to be back in Virginia to eat here again!

Chicken Tikka masala is the only place I like after moving here from NY. I have only tried the basic dishes, but they’ve all been great. This is my go-to Indian restaurant!

Enjoyed the lunch buffet yesterday. Food was delicious and atmosphere is very nice. Most interested in vegetarian vegan options!
