While the service was okay, the food was terrible. The chips were dry and tasteless, like cardboard, and the saveloy was disgusting. It smelled terrible, the meat was an odd color, and had a strange texture. I cannot adequately describe how awful the saveloy was, it is not something any respectable restaurant should serve. I will never return to this place unless they make major changes. I urge others to dine elsewhere as well.
Went here at around 4pm and spent £5 on a large chips with curry sauce. The chips were so stale it was like eating cardboard probably been sat there an hour. They were all brown n just off and the curry sause had lumps of **** in it I have no idea what it is, absolute rip off over priced and awful will not be going there again (had a really weird taste that I've never tasted from a chip before) £5 straight in the bin
Ordered online with a 10% reduction and own collection. Well worth it! The cod was a large portion but seemed huge with lovely crispy batter and deep white fillet. The chips were nicely cut, chunky and cooked perfectly. Such good value. If you love fish and chips you’ll love this!
Unfortunately, the quality of the food at this restaurant has decreased since before the Covid-19 pandemic. On two separate occasions, we received greasy fish and undercooked chips. Due to this disappointing experience, we have decided not to return to this establishment. Book a table now
We stopped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Had a medium cod and chips as well as a fish cake and chips. Both of us were so full and only ate half of the portion. The fish was well battered and fried, the chips were chunky and flavourful. Definitely a place to visit!
Omg the fish and chips are so so good and more than I could eat. The best I've ever had and will definitely be going back there for some more of there tasty takeaway food at a good price. Thank you for such good FOOD
If my wife and I want a fish supper this is where we go. Always properly cooked and generous portions. polite and friendly staff too. This place sets the standard every fish chip shop should aspire to.
We had Haddock and chips delivered to the Walpole Hotel in Margate. The fish was tasty and the portion of chips was huge! The mushy peas were good and there was, of course, a pickled onion. Book a table now
