I think we just found our favourite Ethiopian restaurant in the Washington/Maryland/Virginia area. Prices were great, the chef was constantly checking with us and community regulars on how the food was. It was interesting to read up on the chef and the restaurant's history. The best part is the food. We were stuffed at the end but it was hard to stop since everything was so delicious. Definitely a restaurant to take visitors to the area to. Service: Dine in
My husband and I frequent this restaurant regularly. We've tried other places, but we always find ourselves returning because this is by far the best Ethiopian restaurant we've ever experienced. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. Chef Endalk always welcomes us with a smile and a warm thank you. I absolutely love this place; if I could give it a 10, I would! The Regular Platter with Tibs (prime rib) was absolutely incredible! I especially loved the spicy lentils—the array of spices! the earthiness!—and collards. It was more than enough for two people to eat, and it was $33.99. The staff was friendly. It had a homey atmosphere with Ethiopian music videos playing. An excellent meal for a casual date night.
