I can't emphasize enough how great this place used to be. The owner is frequently present and engages with customers; there was even a time when he personally addressed a problem I had. This spot is not only ideal for grabbing a beer with a friend, but it also fosters a family-friendly environment with children often present. Was here 4 years ago on a strange week night and was beautiful. Once again on a trip and closed 2 hours early on a Saturday night, so it's blackout when I'm here. Something has to go south. Wasted stop because I have a hotel here for the night. It's nice to see the new brewery in town.
Tyler, the owner, was awesome. Went above and beyond to make The Functional Gentleman @HTTTFG on Facebook) feel at home, from the in house brewed beer choices to touring their future building everything was top notch. Don't let the small town fool you, this is a place to be.

This place is a brewery only, despite the many different food menus that come up associated with it on Google. I looked at 4 menus that all had the brewery's name address. When I called to place my order, I was told they do not have food there.

I absolutely adore this place! The live band adds to the vibrant atmosphere, making it a popular spot. I enjoy the excellent music, the wonderful people, and the chance to catch up with friends while sipping on some cold drinks.
First off, these guys are very talented at brewing craft beer. Second, it's awesome to see what they're doing to start the renovation efforts in Downtown Port Neches.
