I went into Negril yesterday on 6/20/24 to grab a homemade fruit punch which is absolutely delicious and I love it. They also had soursop which I grabbed in addition to my fruit punch along with some rice, peas and cabbage with oxtail gravy. To my surprise the cashier who took my order exceeded my expectations when I looked in my bag to go, there was extra oxtail gravy in a separate container. That meant everything to me and I really appreciated that very much! I was a happy camper per usual leaving the best Caribbean spot ever! We went to Negril today after a doctors appointment and Negril The Jamaican Eatery did not disappoint. The fruit punch was wonderful, the beef patty and coco bread were wonderful and my daughter cleaned her plate with the curry chicken, cabbage and peas and rice plate. Everything was on point. There was so much on the menu I had a hard time choosing so I ordered a few things to take with me. All I can say is fantabulous?
Had a Jamaican Pattie once over 20 yrs ago and it made a huge impact on me then. You can taste the heat from the scotch bonnet which at the time, was the most delicious and spiciest thing I had had ever. Today’s brought back those memories. We also ordered the chix curry and oxtail stew, which all came in perfectly made. This might just become our weekly lunches delivery staple!
I have always enjoyed Negril for the finest Jamaican cuisine in the DC area. This was my first experience with delivery, and I was not let down! Their jerk chicken wings are the best you'll find this side of Kingston!
