Neill's Hill is a cozy neighborhood restaurant located in Ballyhackamore. The atmosphere is relaxed and modern, featuring artwork by local illustrator Peter Strain. The menu offers a variety of small plates, local meats, fresh seafood, and even a dedicated vegan menu. Every Wednesday until September, they host Tapas Nights with an authentic Spanish small plates menu. During our visit, we tried a selection of sharing dishes that were all delicious. We enjoyed bread with aioli, roasted padron peppers, patatas bravas, cauliflower wings with garlic and chilli dressing, cheesy polenta chips with pesto, whitebait, crispy paprika squid with rocket, and smoked salmon cream cheese pintxo. We decided to have an early Sunday dinner at this restaurant. We arrived just before noon and were given the brunch menu, which surprisingly only had a vegan fry/breakfast option. When we asked, we found out that the main menu would be available soon, so we waited and were able to order the nut roast at 12:30. It was delicious and had a nice nutty flavor. It came with sprouts, Brussels sprouts, a small portion of root vegetable mash, cranberry sauce, and a small Yorkshire pudding. I gave most of my roast potatoes to my partner for health reasons, but some extra healthy vegetables would have been nice. We shared the only vegan dessert option, which was a heavenly almond cake that was deliciou...

Just home after a lovely Saturday brunch with friends. We were celebrating a special Birthday as well. Food and service was excellent but what made this restaurant stand out was its staff. Our waitress went above and beyond to make our time very special. She knew all our orders , took photographs umpteen ! and even put a candle on the Birthday girl’s desert. Unfortunately didn’t get her name but thank you so so much for making our day. Can’t wait to return

this is a great restaurant in ballyhackamore, suitable for both carnivores and vegetarians. they have a separate vegetarian/veganes menu with several items suitable for vegan or vegan-adjustable. they also list the wee and beer that are suitable for vegans on this menu. the only problem I have with them is that in some places they either run out of a substantial part of a meal or were not able to make it. yet a good foundation in meat and kartoffelland'! This restaurant in Ballyhackamore is fantastic for both meat eaters and vegetarians. They offer a separate menu for vegetarians and vegans, with many options suitable for those with dietary restrictions. They also indicate which wines and beers are vegan-friendly on this menu. The only issue I have encountered is occasionally they run out of certain menu items or are unable to make them. Overall, a solid choice for "meat and kartoffelland" lovers!

This must be the most overrated restaurant I’ve ever known. It’s always packed. Yet the food is always.. just ok. Was part of a group of 10 and not one person said they loved the food. Each said it was fine. Chicken wings were nice and decent starters but the seabass dish is bland. Steaks were ok but not much on plate. So expensive too! Not impressed but the decor and restaurant atmosphere is nice and staff are brilliant

for a non veggie restaurant in belfast I had not particularly high expectations when I visited (vegan) with 2 vegetarians my omni hubby but how wrong I was! some nice vegan options including the elusive vegan dessert vegan weine beer marked clearly. would recommend everyone, but especially for those with meat eating partners/friends this is an excellent option that is safe, all satisfied.

Popped in early on a Saturday night they were clearly very popular but managed to squeeze us in. By the time we left they were completely full. Lovely friend staff, good menu, kids menu for the little ones. Quick service, tasty food, sensibly priced. Happily go back again Book a table now

There are several options for appetizers, main courses, and desserts. I have visited this restaurant twice in the last three months and I was pleased to see that the menu had changed, offering new selections each time.
