I really dont like doing this, but after giving it a lot of thought I feel like its necessary. We decided to take our daughter and family to celebrate her birthday at Nemo last night. Got there around 7:30pm, it was expectedly busy. We got a table for eight of us right away. However, we sat there about 15-20 minutes before anyone took our drink/app order. We had only ordered a few sushi rolls to get started (most of the order was california rolls for tue kids). The drinks came around 15 minute after ordering, while the rolls didnt get to the table until around an hour to 1hr 15min later. Very disappointed. Service was horrible. It’s dirty in there and there were flies everywhere. When I told the server my concerns I was told “it’s probably from the flowers”. As there was one dead flower in a vase on each table. The flies were on the food. No apologies, no remorse. Wasn’t offered a discount, or new food. Was actually charged for something I didn’t order- not that I consumed anything I did order. I went to pay and the employee at the register told me to wait as they were taking phone orders. The wait for our food was long. We were a party of five, and were told one of our meals was given to someone else by mistake. So had to wait even longer for that one. Otherwise the food was good, great atmosphere. Really great sushi restaurant. Service is great. Food is delicious. They have many items to choose from. Fresh fish and even some Indian inspired items. They also have outdoor seating when it's nice out. Great little gem of Keyport.
