This diner was fantastic! There aren’t many diners in Brooklyn, and this one is exceptional! The coffee was delicious and freshly made. The food was amazing, especially the churro French toast. My wife and I were extremely pleased with our experience there. The staff was incredibly friendly, and my wife mentioned that the restrooms were very clean. If you're looking for a meal, this place truly knows how to run a business—they exceeded our expectations! Bravo! This will definitely be my top choice when staying in Brooklyn.
As for the so-called Philly cheesesteak... I'm from Philadelphia and visiting for the weekend, and I have to say, stop disrespecting our city by serving sandwiches like that! It was unbelievably bad—dry, with cheap melted sliced cheese, tough bread, and some mystery meat. Come on, Neptune, you can do better than this!
I always order the Challah French Toast. It came topped with Nutella, just as I requested, instead of on the side, which was actually perfect (and gave me way more Nutella). The chili has a different flavor that I can't quite pinpoint, but it still has the same outrageous amount of jalapeños that I know and love.
This is my first time commenting, but I have to say that Neptune Diner has always impressed me. The omelettes are delicious, and the home fries are fantastic. The food is always served hot and fresh! Thank you, Neptune 2, for the excellent food and for never forgetting the condiments.

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on Saturday morning, and it was fantastic! Everything was cooked exactly to my specifications. The atmosphere was wonderful as well. Five stars!
The grits were totally plain without butter or anything and the turkey burger was a little dry. Ive had good food at the diner itself so maybe the food just didnt travel well
