This is my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. It is an old Chinese restaurant that sticks to traditional recipes without trying to be healthy or trendy. I usually order hot and sour soup, and it's a letdown when restaurants don't include black mushrooms in it. New China does not disappoint in this regard. They have nostalgic red and green paper menus. The food is consistently good, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend New China if you're looking for an authentic American restaurant experience.
