This place is the same as New China Buffet. They combined both restaurants. Same dingy place, good selection of food. Staff can be friendly and unfriendly depending on the day of the week. Make sure to use the bathroom before coming, it is much to be desired. You feel like you want to wash your hands after use. I must say as far as the buffet, they encourage customers to use gloves provided and hand sanitizer.There is construction going on the exterior so you may miss the opening. Hopefully, they will do some well deserved renovations on the old place to make the new restaurant appealing.The menu for Mighty Crab is taken from the buffet to make up the broil…. We went to THE NEW CHINA BUFFET, not the mighty crab, as there was no crab options, not very mighty, the food was just as consistent as it was pre covid, as it's always been, maybe they added more msg, as things actually tasted better we all know msg helps with taste, only difference is some of the staff, however my kids love this place, so I'll continue taking them when they request it. My only negative is, when you say you open 1030-11, make sure all the food is out promptly by 11am. Dont start putting it out after 11..
I recently found this restaurant at the Staten Island mall and thought the decor was very charming. I decided to order a dish that included two lobster tails, corn on the cob, and potatoes. Unfortunately, the lobster tails were small, lacked flavor, and were tough. The hush puppies were just okay. On the bright side, the service was excellent. Overall, I was a bit disappointed and wish I had more positive things to say about my experience.
This is a wonderful spot for families. While the menu doesn't offer a wide variety of dishes, the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. There are plenty of vegetarian options available and the restaurant is kid-friendly, although it may be a bit difficult to find at first.

I did not eat there. I love crabs and never really noticed this place. I am always at Resorts, since Taj closed. Never read what kind of place it is . I will be at Resorts on the 17th, celebrating my birthday . I will have lunch there.
The restaurant is actually called New China Buffet, not the Mighty Crab. Their sushi department is fantastic and they also offer coffee, tea, and possibly espresso. The wheelchair accessibility is very disability friendly.
Very good as all you-can-eat fare goes. Good selection of dishes with shrimp, crawfish, clams and mussels on ice. A sushi bar and carving table during dinner hours. Nice salad bar and dessert bar, including ice cream.
Buffet. Lots of good food some kid friendly issues like nuggets and pizza and then there's Seafood shrimp sushi Lobster salmon flounder. Lots of salads and dessert ice cream toppings. Good food reasonable prices

Great foods and great prices. I had a nice time out with the family. We will all do that definitely again. Is the seating can be a little tight when crowded. We all had a great experience.
1 of my favorite places them adding the BYOB makes it even better. I took my friend here for her bday for a quick bite they loved it
