Spectacular fish chips. Fish chips are easy to screw, and if it is good, it is remarkable. I found good fish chips in my life. This place easily set a new bar the best I had. Easy dough on Nugget size pieces of fish, perfectly cooked, not a single soggy stain. Firm and flocky fish. French frits are beautifully made, mostly crispy. Tartar sauce has a good taste; it is a cloby type (in contrast to a finely mixed type). Lobster roll has more shredded lobster (so, not big lobster chunks) in a light Mayo sauce. Drove in this place for years, finally stopped in yesterday. The fried mussels were as good as the Clam Box in Ipswich and Woodmans in Essex. Huge whole stomach boiled in fresh oil. Hidden Gem.
The food was great and the girl at the counter was great. I was there three times when I visited the Boston area and it was always good.
Excellent selections. And the food is prepared perfectly. Fried food is not oily at all.
