I have been using new jade for nearly 20 years, it has been the best Chinese ever and the whole family looked forward to getting it. Sadly after tonight they are diff under new management or they have changed there menu, and not for the better. The seaweed which was always my favourite tasted of nothing and was like eating paper, the satay skewers was uterley tasteless and tough, the sweet and sour sauce was very runny and watery. Sadly after 20 years we will not be returning. The other reviews where right that this place has changed. Used this takeaway for many years, but when we last ordered the food was dreadful, no flavour and not appetising to look at. I rang and asked if they had changed recipes and was told yes. I suggested they returned to their original recipes on the menu. I phoned to order a couple of weeks later and asked if they had reverted back to old recipes to be told no, but they had had a few complaints. I didn’t order from them and won’t. Food now is dreadful. If you enjoy tasty food, don’t use this establishment.
This place is absolutely terrible. We placed our order at 7:15 and we are still waiting for our food. My wife, who is pregnant, is hungry and we cannot reach anyone at the restaurant. Finally, when I did get through at 8:51, they told me that the driver had already left 20 minutes ago. Now we are stuck waiting for cold food. Do not order from this restaurant!
This used to be one of the best takeaways in Gillingham for a number of years. Tonights takeaway meal was terrible. The staff had changed, the food standard was poor with smaller portion sizes and the food was greasy and not pleasant to eat. I will be seeking an alternative Chinese takeaway from now on.

I have never had a worse Chinese food experience in Kent. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. It took 3 hours for my delivery to arrive, despite them lying multiple times about when it would be delivered. The food turned up cold and I couldn't even warm it up properly.
We ordered our first takeout from this restaurant today. I got the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style. It arrived within 30 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
Ordered a special curry easily the worst I’ve had about 2 pieces of meat and the rest was made up of onion. If I’d of ordered an onion curry I’d of been happy but shocking food tonight
Been using this chinese over 20 years, staff are friendly, food doesn’t take long to arrive either. Never ever had an issue in the 20 years I’ve used them. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

This is our local take away and the food is always good-cooked to order and always very tasty. We have tried other Chinese takeaways in the area but this one is the best!
