The food was okay. The young lady who was the cashier was polite and kind. However, the cook in the kitchen was extremely rude. I only asked 'Do you know how much longer my food will be ', as a simple honest question (I had been waiting 15 minutes, and was the last person in the lobby). In reply, he loudly said 'You know when you order cooked food, it does have to be cooked , and proceeded to laugh with the cooks in the kitchen. It was disappointing, and rude. I won 't be going back. But as someone who 's worked food service, and customer service for years, in the future I 'd advise replying with a simple answer like 'just a few minutes ', or something similar. Not a sarcastic, or passive ag...
I should have reported you but I was already out of the area but there was a hair on my sandwich I am not too happy at all and then my wife's eggs were microwaved you have to cook eggs on a stove I'm not sure what kind of places this is but very disappointed.so you calling me a liar ok thanks I will be reporting you and with all the dog hair all over the floor in your restaurant surprise its on all the food..and yes people can't read if my order is wrong, constantly.and how professional do you sound and you can't even admit you're wrong..
The food here is consistently excellent. I recently had a half sandwich and a cup of soup delivered. The sandwich (the G-Love) was fantastic, but the cup of soup I received seemed more like a cup of salsa (similar to the one they serve with the Augusta-style grits). My coworkers and I had a good laugh about it. I'm sure it was just a mistake, as they usually do a wonderful job with the food and drinks. Overall, this is definitely one of the best places to go for breakfast and lunch in Aiken.
Just passing through and wanted some brunch on the way home. Found this super cute place. Very inviting, friendly people and the food was delicious. I got the smoked salmon on an everything bagel. Definitely one of the best I’ve had. The dill made it so fresh and delightful. The vanilla latte hit the spot and my guys breakfast sandwich was incredible. Fluffy cheesy eggs and the croissant was warm and flaky. If we are ever in the area again we will go back
we stopped in for coffee, gotta stay caffeineated for work! On a whim, I got there last blackberry poptart....and SO HAPPY I DID. Not a huge sweets fan, so I was pleased that it was more about the most perfect puffy pie crust w REAL fruit filling. It was just enuf sweet as to be almost savory.. ..it was excellent and I highly recommend! The hot vanilla latte was well made, and I will DEFINITELY be a repeat customer
Delicious food, exceptional coffee, and the finest smoothies you can find this side of the Mississippi! Their crab bisque is unparalleled! The Aiken Style grits bowl is absolutely wonderful, and the bacon, egg, and cheese scramble bowl is fantastic!
This is a wonderful breakfast sandwich!! The croissant was absolutely perfect, flakey and buttery, the eggs were fluffy and cheesy. The bacon cooked perfectly. The cafe is very cool with mostly outdoor seating set up like a cafe in France.
The review and menu said there’s gluten free food but when I asked about one of there breads they said it’s not gluten free and the employee was rude and ignorant when talking to me
Ok...what's up with this crab bisque...worst I've ever had..that is NOT it. It's a flour, crab flavored concoction I'm soo disappointed.
