I never had sushi and waiter, Alec, took his time to go through beginners sushi and what would have the mildest taste. I got a sampler plate where he even tried the beginners-friendly fish for me and from there asked what flavors I like and pointed to several different options for me. They explained what all the terms meant and helped me step by step during my experience. The staff went beyond and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and got something I want. Alec and the other staff made my first step into the sushi world so easy and it is great to be able to try something new! (P.s. also the Macadamia nuts Martini!
Went to New Moon 45 minutes before they closed and instead of telling us that they closed or close soon, they were nice and put us fast, our server came fast and gave their opinion about their favorite food as it was our first time. In any case, it's going to go again! Very nice and fast people!
Really appreciate that the staff are aware exactly what ingredients are in the food. They have a separate menu for vegans and were happy to discuss the options with us. The restaurant itself looked to have a nice atmosphere. Take out service was pretty prompt.
We were here a few times and really love it! Sushi is great and fresh. My husband lived in Japan as a navy, and he says that this sushi reminds him of what he had eaten there. That's the best place we had sushi for a long time. You will not be disappointed!
